A 'Quality Map' containing collected data suggests optimized charging parameters

Electric vehicles while plugged in may diagnose the actual state of the electric grid it is connected with. It meters values witch are useful to the network operators.

This is one of the reasons why a ‚Quality Map‘ is
set up in the PiVo-project to visualize sensor-data and other information. In the context of creating a ‚smarter grid‘ a sensor network can be established to improve a local oriented quality of supply.

Among the tasks of the Quality Map is to identify and transfer localised parameter recommendations. These recommendations will be used by the charging technology to optimize the electric network condition on location.

The measured physical values are gathered by the charging technology and delivered into a ‘Quality Map’, that if required returns optimated charging parameters to the charging device.
